In retail, ski equipment is generally categorised into 3 groups varying of performance levels; Evolution, Performance and Excellence. This is because ski equipment ( ski’s, poles and snowboards in particular) are manufactured to handle different ski terrain and suit the ability of the skier. For example, products labelled as Excellence are better suited to advanced level skiers and are manufactured to handle challenging terrain including hard ice and difficult turns, while Evolution labelled products are better suited to beginners who are more accustomed to the nursery slopes and easy greens and blues. Les Menuires has a number of ski equipment rental shops at the resort. Upon arrival, you can hire your equipment from any of the shops, however, if you are making your ski holiday booking with Erna Low, we would recommend that you secure your ski equipment hire from us and include them in your customised holiday booking. Can I book my ski equipment online, before my arrival at Les Menuires?

Yes, you can certainly book your ski equipment online prior to your arrival at Les Menuires. Although there are shops at the resort where you can walk in and hire your equipment, there is no extra cost of booking your equipment online with us. It is quicker, easier and saves precious time. Hiring your equipment online also puts you ahead of the queue especially during peak times when the resort is full. During your holiday booking, simply select the equipment you need at the ski extras page, add them to the cart and proceed with the booking. Your equipment will be added to the holiday package and from that point, will be secured, prepared and waiting for your arrival and pick up. No hassle, no stress, no queueing in the shops. Just turn up and collect your order. Simple.

Can I hire ski equipment for young children in Les Menuires?

Yes. Children’s ski equipment is available for hire at Les Menuires. You can hire equipment for children as young as 3 years old from most ski hire shops. You can also hire them directly from us as part of the ski booking process. The children’s ski categories are located just below the adult’s ski equipment on the same page under as part of the ski extras. The process is the same and there is no extra charge. Simply add the products to the cart and continue with the process. The age ranges of the products are also displayed to allow you to select the right equipment for your children. Where do I pick up my ski equipment in Les Menuires?

Once your holiday booking is complete, you will receive a voucher for the ski equipment. The voucher will contain a QR code with the details of your hired equipment. The voucher will also have the name of our ski equipment partner at Les Menuires. Upon arrival, all you need to do is visit the ski shop and present your voucher at the till. The QR will be scanned and your ski equipment will be handed over to you. The ski equipment retailer may have more than one branch at Les Menuires, but that’s ok, you can visit any branch and retrieve your equipment.
