Located in Haute-Savoie region in France and only an hour drive away from Geneva airport is the very traditional resort of La Clusaz. The old village is full of character with some of its old buildings still dominating the very modest skyline of the village. Unlike some of the large resorts in France, La Clusaz is not purpose built as a ski resort and as is very much still an old Savoyard village. That being said, skiing is still very much part of the fabric in La Clusaz. Despite its size and modest reputation, La Clusaz has always been a well known skiing destination amongst locals and tourists alike.
