Chalet Sophie, Alpe d'Huez

Chalet Sophie is a short walk from the Les Bergers area of Alpe d'Huez, where a free shuttle bus runs frequently to the resort centre. Ideally located on the ski slopes of the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine, Chalet Sophie offers ski-in, ski-out accommodation. The chalet is located in the Altiport area of Alpe d'Huez, a little higher up the mountain (approximately 500m) from the bustling resort centre where there are numerous bars, restaurants and shops, as well as a swimming pool, leisure centre, ice rink and cinema. The chalet is beautifully furnished and decorated in the traditional Savoyard style, with a large fireplace and wood and stone interiors. There is plenty of space in all of the rooms, with a large open-plan living area with satellite television, which is wonderfully cosy when the fire is roaring. Chalet Sophie is equipped with an American kitchen with modern amenities; hotplates, oven, microwave, dishwasher, extractor fan and fridge, plus all crockery and pans. The chalet offers guests total comfort and space, sleeping up to 12 people, with multiple en-suite bathrooms and toilets. The chalet also offers its own balcony, providing panoramic views of the mountains, plus a private sauna in which to unwind. Beds are made on arrival, bath robes and slippers are provided together with mid-week and end of stay cleaning, mid-week towel change, satellite TV & free WIFI.
