How Ski Passes Work in Portes Du Soleil?
Your Portes du Soliel ski pass works no different to other ski passes in the European Alps. Once your payment for the ski pass has been completed, your access to the area will be electronically credited to a plastic card that functions just like a standard payment card with a swipe or can function.

You will need to have your ski pass on you at all times while on the slopes as it will be needed to provide access through the turnstiles and barriers at the lifts. You will need to scan or swipe the card at the scanners to gain access to the lifts. For easy activation, the lift passes can be stored in the pockets in the sleeves of your jacket or in the front jacket pockets for easy scanning through the barriers. Some ski pass holders also wear the ski passes on lanyards for easy access and activation.
