Galibier Thabor Ski Holidays
It comprises the two traditional ski resorts of Valloire and Valmeinier, which are connected by a network of lifts and pistes.
Valloire is the larger of the two areas, with 150km of ski runs. It is known for its varied terrain, with something for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Beginners will find plenty of gentle slopes to learn on, while more experienced skiers can tackle the challenging black runs or head off-piste with a guide. The resort also has a snowpark and a boardercross course. Valmeinier, on the other hand, has 70km of ski runs and 17 lifts. It is a smaller and more intimate resort, with a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. The terrain here is mostly suited to beginners and intermediates, with plenty of wide, gentle slopes to enjoy.
Overall, Galibier Thabor is a great destination for skiers of all levels, with a good mix of terrain, stunning mountain scenery, and a welcoming atmosphere. The resort has a good snow record, with snowmaking facilities to ensure good conditions throughout the season. There are also plenty of quality accommodation options, restaurants and bars to choose from, both on and off the slopes.
