What type of ski lessons should I book at Flaine?

There are various ski lessons available at the ski schools in Flaine. Before selecting your ski lessons, make sure that you are fully aware of your ski level and that of any member of your travelling group that will be taking ski lessons. Ski lessons are not exclusively for beginners as the classes range from beginner to intermediate level skiers. There are also separate children’s lessons as well, with kids being taught separately. The ski lessons at Flaine and across the Alps are delivered in two ways; private one-on-one lessons with a dedicated instructor and a group taught lesson involving a group of skiers and 1 or more instructors. The private lessons usually cost more than the group lessons and may be preferred by some as they get the ski instructors undivided attention throughout the duration of the class. This undoubtedly improves their chances of getting the basics quicker. The group lessons are great for beginners and young children as well. They are fun sessions and a great way to make new friends. It is a great option for people who learn better in a group setting and require peer support and friendly motivation. For the children in particular, group sessions also involve different activities and the ski schools also have ski clubs and aftercare laden with activities to keep the children engaged.
