Espace Diamant Ski Holidays
The Espace Diamant (L’Espace Diamant) is a beautiful ski area located in the Haute-Savoie region (department) in France. Situated not too far from the majestic Mont Blanc and the surrounding resorts of Chamonix and Megéve, Espace Diamant sits idyllically in between the Beaufortain and Val d'Arly mountains.
It is made up of the six interconnected resorts of Praz-sur-Arly, Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, Flumit d’Arly, Les Saises, Haute-Luce and Crest-Voland Cohenoz; all of which offer brilliant skiing opportunities while being individually unique from each other. The terrain is mainly made up of wide-open, tree-lined slopes ideal for beginner and intermediate-level skiers. The pistes range between 1,000 and 2,090 metres in altitude with 192 kilometres of marked slopes spread across 152 runs. The area has a fantastic snowfall record and is well known for its great snow conditions, thus being particularly appreciated by snowsport enthusiasts. Freestylers and snowboarders have 5 different snowparks in this area and also benefit from its wide-open slopes.
L’Espace Diamant is a family’s dream ski holiday destination. Incredibly charming and welcoming, it also features stunning panoramic views from pretty much all villages within this ski area. It also benefits from being one of the less popular ski areas in France, thereby resulting in fewer crowds on the slopes and a lot more space for families to have an amazing holiday; especially families looking to enjoy a quiet time away together. There are also a number of exciting non-ski activities perfect for families, groups and all. There are a few tobogganing slopes, nordic-winter hiking trails, hot-air balloon rides and paragliding. Overall, the Espace Diamant offers a fantastic proposition to ski holiday makers; fewer crowds, fantastic location, great snow conditions and a charming atmosphere for little or less the amount spent at some of the more popular ski areas in France.
