A Grandvalira ski pass grants you access to the biggest and most expansive ski area in the Pyrenees and southern Europe. Skiers are greeted with up to 210 kilometres of fantastic slopes spread across 130 pistes. There are fantastic skiing opportunities for the whole family in the Grandvalira ski area thanks to its very good snow conditions, sunny slopes and pistes that reach over 2,500 metres altitude. The Grandvalira ski pass also permits access to any of its 3 main ski resorts of Soldeu, El Tarter and Pas de la Casa as well as 4 other sections of the ski area. The entire ski area is generally beginner and family-friendly with 65 of its 130 slopes blue and green rated. If you are visiting for over 6 days, we would strongly recommend purchasing a Grandvalira ski pass as opposed to a local ski pass for your resident resort; as this allows you to make the very most of your time here as well as explore and cover as much ground as possible.

Yes. You can pre-book your ski pass to the Grandvalira ski area with us online. Pre-booking your ski pass allows you to secure it days, weeks and even months in advance prior to your arrival at any of the resorts. Avoid the long queues and save the hassle of trying to buy your ski pass at the resort when you arrive.
Allow yourself time to yourself when you get to the resort and free up your itinerary when you get a lot of the services provided at the resorts sorted from the comfort of your home way before you even start packing your suitcase. Pre-booking your ski pass is just one of many products and services that you can complete online prior to your arrival.
How Ski Passes Work in Grandvalira?
Your Grandvalira ski pass functions the same way as most other ski passes functions across the remainder of the Alps. Once payment has been made, access to the ski area is credited to a plastic payment card that functions very similarly to a standard, regular payment or digital card.

The card can be scanned at the turnstiles and barriers to grant access to the holder and enable them to use the lifts in the areas. When on the slopes, you should carry your ski pass with you at all times as you will be unable to access any of the barriers without being scanned or swiped through with your pass. In order to keep it close and within easy reach, some holders wear it around their necks with a lanyard. Others may place it in a sleeve pocket or front jacket pocket where it can be easily reached to scan them through.

What About Pedestrian Ski Passes in Grandvalira?
For the holidaymakers looking to get a closer look at the fantastic mountain range, a pedestrian pass will be perfect in granting foot access to the slopes. Nature lovers, wildlife and landscape photographers, snowshoeing explorers, hikers and many more are the typical pedestrian pass holders in the area.
As usual, pedestrians are not authorised on the ski slopes and some of the lifts for pedestrians are complete;y separate from the ski linked slopes. Grandvalira has two dedicated pedestrian lifts for all pedestrian pass holders and it includes two ascents and two descents on the same day. For more information on your Grandvalira pedestrian pass, please do not hesitate to contact us.
